The size of Kuga Campervan was perfect for us (young couple). We are traveling since 8 months and the best sleep so far we had in this van, no joking!

Normally we just kept the bed there during the day as it’s pretty easy to reach the boxes underneath (lots of storage room!). But the table is built in less than 5 minutes, so it wouldn’t be a big effort.

Experience with Travelers Autobarn was amazing. Right from pick up in darwin to drop off in Perth, we had a completely professional service.

Once we had sorted everything out, we were on our way and the vehicle ran like a beauty. We had three people in the front and didn't at all feel claustrophobic. The gas tank lasted the full 25 days (which we refilled at the end of our trip for $7.99 to ensure we didn't have to pay the $50 fee) and the fridge kept running the entire time for all the cheese and wine we had (camping with style).

Everything we needed was included and couldn't complain. Definitely recommend!

    - Take out windshield protection; far too many road trains kick up stones that chip away at the glass

    - Drive slow at night - kangaroos and cattle can do serious damage to your vehicle and more importantly, your health!

    - Travel with two others; it's more efficient and more enjoyable, just make sure one of them is tiny or has a tent

Had one minor issue on the road with the vehicle and it was sorted right away, just had to go to the nearest mechanic with an account with Travelers Autobarn to get it sorted and then was back on the road again a few hours later.

But first things first: Everything went really smooth and fast on our pick up day. They staff from Travellers Autobarn explained it well and told us everything we needed to know about the car and the equipment.

    - Ensure you have ID for the card owner if you are using someone else's credit card for the initial bond

They provide all the kitchen stuff you need. There are different sizes of pans, a kettle, several plates, cups and mugs, etc. Everything was in great condition and as good as new. The fridge was big enough and held our food fresh and cool. The water tank lasts three days. Our tip: Fill the tank whenever you are able to so you never have to worry about running out of water!

Had a great time with our Chubby camper travelling to the red centre. Even for an aussie this has been a trip of a lifetime and the team at Travellers Autobarn in Darwin just made the whole process of getting on the road super easy. We even got a few solid tips for our travels. I'd recommend these guys to anyone travelling by road across Australia. The vehicle was clean, the team seemed to be reliable and every part from booking, pick up and drop off was easy. Thanks guys!

We weren't sure if we really wanted to buy a car but Zoe and Rupert showed us the advantages of driving your own car in Australia and now after 3 months we're happy we made this decision! On our journey from Darwin to Adelaide, Melbourne and finally Cairns we never had any issues with the car and felt very secure through our 24h-road assistance. The staff of Darwin put brand new tires on our car and we never had any difficulties on the road. Furthermore, they equipped the car with camping gear for three people even though it's usually only camping gear for two people. We highly recommend Travellers Autobarn for anyone who wants to have a safe trip with a car in very good conditions and a reliable company.

We have rent a Kuga Campervan in Darwin for 9 days in total. We did a roadtrip through Kakadu NP and Litchfield NP and had the best time!

I rented the KUGA camper for 25 days on an epic road trip from Perth to Darwin. The trip started off poorly as I had missed the small print when using a family member's credit card for the bond. Whilst this was entirely my fault, the lady at the desk did state that this information was often missed by customers and that Travellers Autobarn were in the process of making it more clearer to speed up the vehicle pick up procedure.

    - Drive no faster than 80kmph as these heavy vehicles only get 400km to the tank

On our Drop-off day it was very easy and uncomplicated. Great end of a great trip. We’d totally recommend renting a campervan from Travellers Autobarn!

The van was a bit old but we'd expected that, for the money we paid. Even in saying that, the vans are kept in top condition for their age.

The beds were comfy though you may have some trouble getting up to the top one if you are 6ft+! The ventilation of the vehicle we superb, although we did not start using the air con until we had crossed into Northern Territory.
